I know, I know – very few people get excited about numbers, statistics and percentages the way I do. However, how do we know how we are doing as an organization? That is where I come in. If you haven’t already reviewed our “research” tab – please do so. For now, here are some interesting 2017 numbers from AToN Center:
- 77% of our residents completed our program. That breaks down to an AMA rate of 17%, an Administrative Discharge Rate of 4% and a Higher Level of Care Transfer rate of 2%.
- Upon discharge, 50% of our residents preferred 12 Step community support groups to all other types of support! 35% of our residents opted to utilize a combination of 12 Step and Non-12 Step support, and 15% of our residents preferred Non 12 Step Support only.
- The majority of AToN Center residents are offered some form of anti-craving medication; based on substances of choice and types of cravings. In 2017, 53% of our residents discharged our program with some form of medication to assist with cravings. This would be Antabuse, Campral, Naltrexone or Vivitrol.
- 87% of our residents had a Partial Hospitalization Program or Intensive Outpatient Program scheduled within 7 days of discharge. Our staff did not make these appointments for them, our residents took the initiative and scheduled these appointments themselves!
