Rachael Loxston, APCC

Clinician

Rachael Loxston (she/her) is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) with international experience supporting clients from a wide range of backgrounds—from affluent individuals in a Swiss addiction treatment center to individuals from under-resourced communities in the UK and U.S as served through non-profit organizations. Before joining AToN Treatment Center, Rachael worked with survivors of human trafficking.

Her therapeutic approach is relational and existential, grounded in the belief that the client is a fellow traveler in the process of growth and self-discovery. Rachael has a strong focus on identity construction and helping clients cultivate a deeper sense of belonging. A published researcher, she has studied the concepts of identity and belonging extensively. Deeply influenced by Jungian analysis, she also has a special interest in working with the unconscious through dream interpretation and spontaneous drawings.
